Collecting Timing Logs

To help triage latency when using Secure Print, you can now collect timing logs while the Secure Print system is running to reveal the source of latency.

To collect timing logs:

1. On the machine where you installed the Device Scout, open the configuration file called generalSettings.config located in C:\Program Files (x86)\PharosSystems\Sentry Print Service\App_Data.
2. Set the parameter enableProfiling key to true.

3. Restart the Pharos Systems Sentry Print Service.

Once enabled, a separate rolling log file called Timing.log is created in C:\ProgramData\PharosSystems\Sentry Print Service.
